Picnic 2019 Host Don Obrien
On the rolling wooded estate of Don Obrien, over 22 tennis players gathered for a sharing of good natured information about each other. Some had been playing at the Brockport Pickle Ball courts, others were playing sparingly so there was a lot of information catching up to do. Jack from Maui came and shared his Kona adventures. Don Obrien was kind enough to provide the grill and the cooking with delicious hamburgers and white and red hots. There were buffalo wings, bacon a la Puerto Rico style, salads from Carl, hot spiced peppers from Andy, beer from Herb, cookies, and other delicacies on the tables. Everyone brought something to share. Soft drinks, cold water bottles in coolers with cold beer. The setting was beneath some trees and it was nice and cool sitting in the shade. With an umbrella to boot.
